“What’s Available and How to Find It? Using the FamilySearch Catalog Effectively”
The FamilySearch Catalog is an important help for family historians. It has information about everything available through FamilySearch, including online, at the FamilySearch Library and at many of the Family History Centers. Learn how to use effectively this significant resource to find records about your family.
Marilyn Markham, AG, CG, MLS, worked in the Family History Department of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for almost 34 years. For the first two years she cataloged records from Spain and Columbia and then she worked in the US/Canada Reference Unit at the Family History Library. She also helped design various computer projects as a users representative and has taught at many genealogy conferences.
